Easy American Flag Fruit Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 roll (16.5 oz) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour for rolling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 large bananas, sliced (optional)
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a rectangular baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out cookie dough on floured surface to fit baking sheet, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Transfer dough to baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool completely.
  4. Beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Add vanilla and lemon juice, then gradually mix in powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Spread frosting evenly over cooled cookie base, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Create a square of blueberries in the top left corner (approximately 1/3 of width and 1/3 of height).
  7. Arrange sliced strawberries in rows to create red stripes. If using bananas, place them between strawberry rows for white stripes.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow frosting to set.
  9. Cut into squares with a sharp knife, cleaning the blade between cuts for neat slices.
