Description

These Snickers Cookies are what happens when your favorite candy bar and your dream cookie have a delicious baby – one bite and you’ll be hooked for life.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2¼ cups (280g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup (170g) unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup (150g) packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 12 fun-size Snickers bars (approximately 2 cups when chopped)
  • ½ cup (85g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Freeze Snickers bars for 30 minutes, then chop into ½-inch pieces.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat butter and both sugars until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Gently fold in chopped Snickers and chocolate chips, reserving some Snickers pieces for topping.
  7. Drop 2-tablespoon portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Press reserved Snickers pieces on top.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers look slightly underdone.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
  10. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, or freeze for longer storage.
