- 1 lb smoked sausage or kielbasa, sliced into rounds
- 3 medium potatoes, diced
- 2 medium carrots, sliced
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Step 1: Add chopped cabbage, potatoes, carrots, onion, garlic, and sliced sausage to your slow cooker.
- Step 2: Pour in the broth. Add paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Step 3: Stir everything gently to combine.
- Step 4: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until vegetables are fork-tender.
- Step 5: Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Step 6: Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
