  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon fish sauce (optional)
  • 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated and washed
  • 1/2 cup (75g) shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup (10g) fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup (35g) chopped peanuts
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the Thai Chili Sauce In a small bowl, whisk together sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, honey, and fish sauce (if using) until completely combined. Taste and adjust the heat level or sweetness to your preference. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld while you prepare the chicken filling. This sauce can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
  2. Step 2: Cook the Aromatics Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and diced red onion.
