Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie Recipe

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie

Description

This Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie combines rich peanut butter filling, chocolate crust, and Reese’s pieces for an indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs (such as Oreos)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 ¼ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 56 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped
  • Chocolate syrup or ganache (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Stir until the crumbs are fully coated. Press the mixture into the base and sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Use the back of a spoon to pack it tightly. Refrigerate the crust while you prepare the filling.
  2. Make the Peanut Butter Filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and peanut butter together until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks, then fold it gently into the peanut butter mixture until well combined.
  3. Assemble the Pie: Spread the peanut butter filling over the chilled crust. Use a spatula to smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the filling to set.
  4. Top with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups: After the pie has set, chop the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups into small pieces. Sprinkle them evenly over the top of the pie. Optionally, drizzle with chocolate syrup or ganache for added flavor and decoration.
  5. Serve: Slice the pie into wedges and serve chilled. Enjoy the perfect combination of creamy peanut butter and crunchy chocolate.
