- 3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 4–5 breasts)
- 2 (1 oz) packets dry ranch seasoning mix
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened and cubed
- 1 cup chicken broth (low-sodium preferred)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into pieces
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt to taste (if needed)
Instructions
- Lightly coat your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
- Place chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the crockpot and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika.
- Sprinkle both packets of dry ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken.
- Pour chicken broth around the edges of the crockpot.
- Distribute the cubed cream cheese and butter pieces evenly across the top of the seasoned chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Check chicken for doneness (165°F internal temperature).
- Remove chicken, whisk sauce until smooth, then return chicken to the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
