Ingredients
Scale
- 36 regular Oreo cookies (one 14.3 oz package)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 16 oz white chocolate or almond bark, chopped
- 2 tbsp red, white, and blue sprinkles (star-shaped or jimmies work best)
- 1 tbsp red candy melts (optional, for drizzling)
- 1 tbsp blue candy melts (optional, for drizzling)
Instructions
- Crush Oreo cookies (with filling) in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
- Transfer crumbs to a large bowl and add softened cream cheese. Mix thoroughly until well combined with no white streaks.
- Form mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill balls in refrigerator for at least 1 hour or freezer for 20 minutes.
- Melt white chocolate in microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
- Working with a few balls at a time (keeping the rest chilled), dip each ball in melted white chocolate using a fork. Allow excess to drip off.
- Place dipped balls back on parchment paper and immediately decorate with patriotic sprinkles.
- If desired, once white chocolate has set, drizzle with melted red and blue candy melts for extra decoration.
- Allow to set completely at room temperature (about 1 hour) or refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
- Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled for the best flavor and texture.
