For the Graham Cracker Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Cream Cheese Layer:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
For the Strawberry Layer:
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 package (3 oz) strawberry Jello (gelatin)
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
Instructions
- Prepare the Graham Cracker Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Stir until the mixture is well combined and resembles wet sand. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Refrigerate while preparing the other layers.
- Make the Cream Cheese Layer: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled graham cracker crust.
- Prepare the Strawberry Layer: In a saucepan, bring 1 1/2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in the strawberry Jello until completely dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Once cooled, pour the Jello over the cream cheese layer. Arrange the sliced strawberries evenly over the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
- Serve: Once the layers have set, slice the dessert into squares and serve chilled. Garnish with additional whipped topping or fresh strawberries if desired.
