  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, avocado, mayo, ketchup, or mustard

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the burgers tender.
  2. Step 2: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties about 1/2 inch thick. Use parchment paper between patties if stacking to prevent sticking.
  3. Step 3: Heat a griddle, skillet, or grill over medium heat. Add olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Step 4: Place the patties on the preheated surface and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Avoid pressing the burgers down while cooking to retain moisture.
