Instructions

  1. Step 1- Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels
  2. Step 2- In a bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil. If you prefer a thicker sauce, stir in cornstarch
  3. Step 3- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the shrimp in a single layer
  4. Step 4- Season the shrimp with salt and pepper to taste and cook for 2–3 minutes until they start turning pink
  5. Step 5- Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Step 6- Lower the heat and let the shrimp simmer for 3–5 minutes, or until cooked through and the sauce has thickened
  7. Step 7- Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired
  8. Step 8- Serve immediately while warm
