Make your Halloween party legendary with this blood-red punch that looks sinister but tastes heavenly. Perfect for spooking guests while satisfying their sweet tooth!

- 2 pounds (900g) fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- ¼ cup (60ml) fresh lemon juice
- 2 liters strawberry-flavored soda, chilled
- 1 liter lemon-lime soda, chilled
- 2 cups (480ml) cranberry juice, chilled
- 1 cup (240ml) grenadine syrup
- Optional: 2 cups (480ml) vodka for adult version
- Ice cubes
- 3 tablespoons corn syrup
- Red food coloring
- Fresh strawberries and plastic vampire teeth for garnish
Instructions
- Combine halved strawberries with sugar and lemon juice in a large bowl. Let sit for 30 minutes to release juices.
- Transfer strawberry mixture to a blender and process until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds.
- Refrigerate strawberry puree for at least 1 hour until cold.
- Mix corn syrup with red food coloring until deep red. Drizzle around the inside rim of serving glasses, allowing it to drip down. Place glasses upside down for 10 minutes, then refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- In a large punch bowl, combine strawberry puree, cranberry juice, and grenadine. Stir gently.
- If making an adult version, add vodka now.
- Just before serving, add ice to the punch bowl, then slowly pour in the strawberry soda and lemon-lime soda. Swirl gently to combine.
- Fill prepared “bloody” glasses with ice cubes and ladle in the punch.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries cut to resemble bleeding hearts and add plastic vampire teeth to glass rims.
- Serve immediately while fizzy and dramatic.
