Description

This Halloween Sherbet Punch creates the spookiest fog effect you’ve ever seen in a drink. One sip and you’ll be casting this spell at every October party.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 gallon (2 quarts) orange sherbet (slightly softened)
  • 2 liters (67.6 fl oz) ginger ale or lemon-lime soda, chilled
  • 64 oz (1/2 gallon) orange juice, chilled
  • 46 oz (1.4 liters) pineapple juice, chilled
  • 2 cups (16 oz) cranberry juice cocktail
  • 12 cups fresh or frozen raspberries or blackberries (optional for garnish)
  • Gummy worms, plastic spiders, or eyeball candies (optional for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Chill a large punch bowl or cauldron in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before assembling.
  2. Combine orange juice, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice cocktail in your chilled punch bowl and stir gently.
  3. Slowly pour the chilled ginger ale or lemon-lime soda down the side of the bowl to minimize foaming and stir once or twice.
  4. Using an ice cream scoop, add rounded scoops of orange sherbet to the punch, spacing them evenly across the surface. Don’t stir after adding the sherbet.
  5. Add Halloween decorations like berries, gummy worms, or plastic spiders to complete the spooky presentation.
  6. Serve immediately for the best foggy effect and carbonation.
