- 3 tablespoons olive oil, for brushing
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 4 oz pepperoni, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup cooked Italian sausage, crumbled (optional)
- 1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
- 1/4 cup black olives, chopped
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- Skull-shaped baking molds
- Non-stick cooking spray
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray skull molds with cooking spray.
- Roll out pizza dough to 1/8 inch thickness and cut pieces about 1 inch larger than the mold cavities.
- Press one piece of dough into each cavity, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Add a thin layer of cheese first, then 1 tablespoon of sauce, followed by more cheese and toppings, leaving 1/4 inch of space around the edges.
- Cover with a second piece of dough and firmly press edges to seal, trimming excess dough.
- Brush tops with egg wash and score facial features if desired for extra detail.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Cool in molds for 5 minutes before carefully removing.
