Instructions

  1. Step 1 Preparation: Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water to remove excess starch. This ensures your rice comes out fluffy and not sticky.
  2. Step 2 Sauté Aromatics: Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until soft and fragrant.
  3. Step 3 Toast the Rice: Stir in the rice and cook for 1-2 minutes, allowing it to absorb the oil and take on a slightly nutty flavor.
  4. Step  4 Add Liquid and Lemon: Pour in chicken or vegetable broth, fresh lemon juice, and lemon zest. Stir to combine.
