Gooey Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs

Gooey Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs

Description

Learn how to make Gooey Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs! A simple, cheesy snack with crispy biscuit dough and melty mozzarella inside.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Dough: Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Use your hands to flatten each biscuit into a round circle about 2 inches in diameter.
  3. Stuff the Biscuits: Place one cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold the dough around the cheese and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
  4. Season and Brush the Dough: In a small bowl, melt the butter and stir in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Use a pastry brush to apply the seasoned butter mixture over the top of each biscuit.
  5. Bake: Place the filled biscuit bombs onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling inside.
  6. Serve: Once they’re out of the oven, let the bombs cool for a few minutes before serving. Dip them in marinara sauce or enjoy them plain for a cheesy treat!
