Description
Learn how to make Gooey Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs! A simple, cheesy snack with crispy biscuit dough and melty mozzarella inside.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Dough: Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Use your hands to flatten each biscuit into a round circle about 2 inches in diameter.
- Stuff the Biscuits: Place one cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit. Fold the dough around the cheese and pinch the edges tightly to seal.
- Season and Brush the Dough: In a small bowl, melt the butter and stir in the garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Use a pastry brush to apply the seasoned butter mixture over the top of each biscuit.
- Bake: Place the filled biscuit bombs onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling inside.
- Serve: Once they’re out of the oven, let the bombs cool for a few minutes before serving. Dip them in marinara sauce or enjoy them plain for a cheesy treat!
