- 4 tablespoons (60ml) olive oil, divided
- 5–6 garlic cloves, minced (about 2 tablespoons)
- 1 cup (100g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- ¾ cup (180ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (120g) sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 cup (40g) panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels, season with salt and pepper, and place in a lightly oiled 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a small skillet over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30-45 seconds. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
- Add heavy cream, sour cream, half the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and paprika to the garlic. Whisk until smooth. Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- In a separate bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, remaining Parmesan cheese, and 2 tablespoons olive oil. Sprinkle this mixture over the chicken.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and topping is golden brown. For extra crispiness, broil for the final 2-3 minutes, watching carefully.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
