Garlic Butter Cheese Bombs Recipe

Garlic Butter Cheese Bombs Recipe

Description

Try these easy Garlic Butter Cheese Bombs crispy on the outside, gooey cheese on the inside. Perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • Biscuit Dough: You can use store-bought biscuit dough for convenience or make your own from scratch.
  • Cheese: Mozzarella is the most common choice for this recipe, but you can use cheddar, gouda, or a blend of your favorites.
  • Butter: Unsalted butter is used for the garlic butter glaze, which adds richness and flavor to the bombs.
  • Garlic: Fresh garlic is preferred, as it provides a more aromatic and robust flavor than garlic powder.
  • Parsley: Fresh parsley adds a pop of color and freshness to the garlic butter glaze.
  • Salt and Pepper: These basic seasonings help bring out the flavors in both the dough and the garlic butter glaze.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare the Dough: If using store-bought biscuit dough, open the can and separate the dough into individual biscuits. If using homemade dough, roll it out on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  3. Stuff the Dough: Place a small amount of shredded cheese (1-2 tablespoons) in the center of each biscuit. Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese and pinch them together tightly to seal the cheese inside. Roll the dough into a ball to ensure it stays sealed.
  4. Bake the Cheese Bombs: Place the cheese-filled dough balls on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Make the Garlic Butter: While the cheese bombs are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  6. Coat with Garlic Butter: As soon as the cheese bombs come out of the oven, immediately brush them with the garlic butter glaze. Make sure each bomb is evenly coated for maximum flavor.
  7. Serve: Allow the cheese bombs to cool for 1-2 minutes before serving. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping, or enjoy them on their own.
