Ingredients

  • 4 fresh salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil until mixed well.
  2. Step 2: Place salmon fillets in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Allow to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Step 4: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the marinated salmon fillets without overcrowding.
  5. Step 5: Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
