  • 4 boneless (skinless chicken breasts)
  • 8 oz 225 g fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • 2 medium tomatoes (thinly sliced)
  • 810 fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: Butterfly the chicken breasts: Slice each breast horizontally without cutting all the way through. Open the chicken like a book.
  3. Step 3: Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
