- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cooked and diced)
- 8 oz cream cheese (full-fat)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup jalapeños (fresh or pickled, chopped)
- 8 flour tortillas (6-inch)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Step 1 – Preheat the Oven. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2 – Prepare the Filling. In a bowl, mix the diced chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, cumin, and garlic powder until well combined.
- Step 3 – Assemble the Taquitos. Take a tortilla and spoon about two tablespoons of the filling onto one side. Roll it tightly while tucking in the edges. Place seam-side down on a greased baking sheet.
- Step 4 – Brush with Oil. Lightly brush each rolled taquito with olive oil to help them turn golden while baking.
- Step 5 – Bake. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Step 6 – Serve . Serve warm with sour cream or guacamole.
