  • 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for searing)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup chicken broth (or more as needed)
  • Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  2. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning. Stir until the cream cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Add the chicken broth gradually, stirring to combine, and bring the sauce to a simmer.
  3. Return the Chicken to the Skillet: Place the seared chicken breasts back into the skillet and spoon some sauce over the top. Cover and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and tender, with an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  4. Serve: Once the chicken is cooked, serve it with the creamy ranch sauce poured over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve with your choice of side dishes.
