- 2 pounds frozen tater tots
- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 medium onion (about 1 cup), diced
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (corn, peas, carrots)
- 2 cans (10.5 oz each) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, thyme, black pepper, and milk until smooth.
- Fold in the cooked chicken, diced onion, mixed vegetables, and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
- Spread the mixture evenly in your prepared baking dish.
- Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer over the chicken mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until tater tots are golden and crispy.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheese over the top and bake for 5 more minutes until cheese is melted.
- Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.22
