The easiest way to enjoy chicken farm on a busy weeknight! All the flavor, none of the fuss, and it’s ready in just 35 minutes.

- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and cubed (about 4 cups)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 3 cups marinara sauce (homemade or high-quality store-bought)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, toss the cubed cooked chicken with olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread about 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
- Add the seasoned chicken pieces in an even layer over the sauce.
- Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the chicken and sprinkle the minced garlic throughout.
- Layer the shredded mozzarella and ¾ cup of the Parmesan cheese on top of the sauce.
- In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, melted butter, and remaining ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the cheese layer. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let stand for 10 minutes, then garnish with freshly chopped basil before serving.
