Ingredients
-
For the Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 pounds or 680g)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
- 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix (8g)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (1g)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (1g)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
-
For the Coating:
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (about 60g)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (25g)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley (1g)
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme (0.5g)
Instructions
-
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
-
Prepare the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and ranch seasoning. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and rub it in to coat evenly.
-
Prepare the Coating: In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried parsley, and thyme. Mix well until evenly combined.
-
Coat the Chicken: Dip each seasoned chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure an even coating on both sides. Place the coated chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
-
Bake the Chicken: Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). For extra crispiness, remove the foil in the last 5 minutes of baking.
-
Serve: Once done, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs or extra Parmesan, if desired.
