Baked Feta Pasta

This TikTok-famous pasta is about to become your new obsession – one bite of this creamy, tangy tomato heaven and you’ll understand why the internet lost its mind.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225g) block of Greek feta cheese
  • 2 pints (20 oz/570g) cherry or grape tomatoes
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 12 oz (340g) pasta of your choice
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the block of feta in the center of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange cherry tomatoes around the feta in a single layer and drizzle everything with 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
  3. Sprinkle with sliced garlic, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until tomatoes burst and feta is soft and golden.
  5. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  6. Remove baking dish from oven and immediately mash the feta and tomatoes together to form a creamy sauce.
  7. Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and lemon juice (if using) to the sauce.
  8. Add drained pasta to the baking dish and toss until completely coated, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.
  9. Fold in torn basil leaves and serve immediately.
