Baked Boursin Salmon

Baked Boursin Salmon

Description

Creamy, herby Boursin melts into perfectly flaky salmon for a dinner that looks fancy but takes less than 30 minutes. Your secret to impressive weeknight cooking!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz/170g each), skin-on
  • 1 package (5.2 oz/150g) Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Brush each fillet with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the softened Boursin cheese with minced garlic, lemon zest, fresh dill, and lemon juice.
  5. Spread the Boursin mixture evenly over each salmon fillet, covering the top completely.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork but still maintains a moist center.
  7. For a golden top, broil for the final minute, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh dill sprigs and serve with lemon wedges.
