Air Fryer Ranch-Crusted Chicken Bites


Description

These Air Fryer Ranch-Crusted Chicken Bites are addictively crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and take just minutes to make. Skip the drive-thru and satisfy your cravings with these instead.


Ingredients

  • pounds (680g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 packets (2 oz/56g) ranch seasoning mix, divided
  • 1 cup (120g) panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup (45g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray (preferably olive oil)
  • Ranch dressing for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Set up three shallow bowls. In the first, mix flour with 1 packet of ranch seasoning. In the second, whisk eggs and water. In the third, combine panko, Parmesan, remaining ranch seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper.
  2. Pat chicken pieces dry with paper towels, then dredge each piece first in flour mixture, then egg mixture, then breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes, then lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  4. Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch. Lightly spray tops with cooking spray.
  5. Cook for 5 minutes, then flip the chicken bites and continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Serve immediately with ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.
