Description

Crispy, juicy chicken with all your favorite Caesar salad flavors in every bite. Skip the deep fryer but keep all the flavor with this genius weeknight dinner hack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • pounds (680g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¾ cup (75g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup (60g) panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons Caesar dressing
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Cooking spray
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley, lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts between plastic wrap and pound to ¼-inch thickness. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine Parmesan, panko, garlic powder, oregano, pepper, and salt. In another bowl, mix Caesar dressing, olive oil, and lemon zest.
  3. Dip each chicken cutlet in the Caesar mixture, then press firmly into the breadcrumb mixture to coat completely. Let rest 5 minutes.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes. Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  5. Place cutlets in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed). Spray tops lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Cook for 5-6 minutes, flip, spray lightly again, and cook another 4-5 minutes until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let rest 2-3 minutes before serving with optional garnishes.
