Description
Make these irresistible Nutter Butter Balls with peanut butter, chocolate, and a crunchy coating. Perfect no-bake treat for any occasion!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (about 16 ounces) Nutter Butter cookies, crushed
- 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky, depending on your preference)
- 2–3 cups powdered sugar (depending on the desired consistency)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups semisweet or milk chocolate chips (for coating)
- Optional: Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or mini chocolate chips for decorating
Instructions
- Prepare the Mixture: In a large bowl, crush the Nutter Butter cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or a rolling pin. Add the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix everything together until it forms a dough-like consistency that’s easy to roll into balls.
- Roll the Balls: Take about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball using your hands. Repeat this process until all the mixture has been shaped into balls, placing each one on a tray lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the Balls: Once all the balls are shaped, place the tray in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This helps the peanut butter mixture firm up and makes it easier to dip the balls in chocolate.
- Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
- Dip the Balls: Once the balls are chilled, dip each one into the melted chocolate, covering it completely. Use a fork to lift the ball out of the chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off, and place it back on the parchment-lined tray.
- Let the Chocolate Set: Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or place the tray back in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to speed up the process.
- Serve: Once the chocolate has hardened, the Nutter Butter Balls are ready to serve. Enjoy them with a glass of milk, or store them in an airtight container for later enjoyment.
