Make this easy Mini Quiche Recipe for a savory, customizable treat. Perfect for brunch, parties, or a quick snack!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of pie dough (or homemade dough)
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream (or milk for a lighter version)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)
- 1/2 cup cooked ham, crumbled bacon, or sausage (optional)
- 1/4 cup sautéed spinach or other vegetables (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon dried herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your mini muffin tin or tart pans with cooking spray or butter.
- Prepare the dough: Roll out the pie dough on a lightly floured surface. Use a round cutter or a glass to cut out circles large enough to fit into the muffin tin. Press each dough circle gently into the cups, making sure the edges are neatly pressed down.
- Blind bake the crust: Place the dough-lined muffin tin in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until the edges of the crust begin to brown slightly. Remove from the oven and set aside.
- Make the filling: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, cheese, and seasonings. If you’re adding cooked meat or vegetables, combine them with the egg mixture.
- Fill the crusts: Spoon the egg mixture into the partially baked crusts, filling each one about 3/4 of the way full.
- Bake the quiches: Return the tin to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the quiches are set and golden brown on top. You can test them by inserting a toothpick; it should come out clean.
- Cool and serve: Let the quiches cool slightly before serving. They can be enjoyed warm or at room temperature.
